Date of Issue : 12 March 2009 Here is the latest stamp to be issued by Cyprus on Bicentenary of the birth of Louis Braille. One of the most beautiful stamps on Louis Braille issued so far. The bright red coloured stamp with the picture of Louis Braille and 200 written in bold with Braille Inscriptions. FDC is equally beautiful.

We are waiting to see the Cyprus Louis Braille centenary stamp in the flesh, so to speak. As currently, we too only have the photos taken from the official leaflet.
I quite like the Syrian stamps for this issue though!
