Specialised World Stamp Exhibition - PRAGA - 2018




PRAGA 2018, Specialised World Stamp Exhibition is being held at the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague from August 15-18,2018. More than 1500 frames are on display in this exhibition.

World Stamp Championship ISRAEL 2018






World Stamp Championship ISRAEL 2018 is being held from May 27 to 31, 2018 at the International Convention Center, Jerusalem, Israel. Damyanti Pittie is the National Commissioner from India. There is no Jury from India. Following four exhibits from India are participating in ISRAEL 2018:


Postal History Class: 

Kishor Chandak, Early Indian Cancellations Postmarks: 1852-1900
Rajesh Jhunjhunwala, Postal History of British India (1854-1876)

Philatelic Literature Class:

Dinesh Chandra Sharma, Philately as a Teaching tool
Kishor Chandak, Catalogue of the Handstruck Postage Stamp of India - 2016 Supplement



India Post is also participating with a Sales Booth where a Special Postmark will also be provided.

Thailand 2018 World Stamp Exhibition











THAILAND 2018 is an extraordinary world stamp exhibition organized by the Philatelic Association of Thailand under the Patronage of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn from November 28 to December 3, 2018 at the Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon, Bangkok, Thailand on the auspicious occasion of the First Anniversary Celebration of H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s Royal Coronation Ceremony. The 75th Congress of the International Philatelic Federation (FIP) will also be held at THAILAND 2018.







THAILAND 2018 with a capacity of 2500 display frames is the only General World exhibition in the year 2018 with participation open in all Classes viz FIP Championship, Traditional, Postal History, Postal Stationery, Aerophilately, Astrophilately, Thematic, Maximaphily, Revenues, Youth, Literature, One Frame, Modern Philately and Open Philately.

The participation fee for Competitive Classes (except Youth Philately, Literature and One Frame) will be USD80 per frame. The fee for participation in Literature Class is USD90 per exhibit. The fee for participation in One Frame Class is USD100 per exhibit. There is no participation fee for Youth Philately Class.










Mr. Madhukar Jhingan is the National Commissioner for India.

The minimum eligibility for participation in THAILAND 2018 is winning at least a vermeil award at the National exhibition. The Exhibit Application forms and the detailed rules of exhibition (IREX) are available for download at http://thailand2018.org/

The duly filled Forms along with a copy of the first page of the exhibit should be submitted to the National Commissioner for India, Madhukar Jhingan, mj@stampsofindia.com +919811160965 by March 1, 2018.

Bandung 2017 - WORLD STAMP EXHIBITION : Indian Winners




BANDUNG 2017 - Specialized WORLD STAMP EXHIBITION,  under FIP Patronage is being held in Trans Studio Convention Center, Bandung, INDONESIA from 3rd August to 7th August 2017. Shri Sahdeva Sahoo is National Commissioner for this exhibition. The awards have been announced. Brasilia-2017 - Specialized World Stamp Exhibition




Brasilia-2017 is a Specialized World Stamp Exhibition. The Exhibition will open on 24 October 2017 and close on 29 October 2017An exhibitor whose entry has won at least a  vermeil award at the National philatelic exhibitions, or have participated in an International philatelic exhibition and have won a medal may submit entry. Acceptance of exhibit  totally depends on organizers.

Following classes are available for participation.

Exhibition Classes

Class 1 – FIP Championship Class - For exhibits that have been awarded three Large Gold medals, in three different years, at World Exhibitions held under FIP Patronage over the last ten years (2007-2016).

Class 2 - Traditional Philately (TP): A) Brazil. B) Americas (except Brazil). C) Europe. D) Asia, Oceania and Africa. 

Class 3 - Postal History (PH): A) Brazil. B) Americas (except Brazil). C) Europe. D) Asia, Oceania and Africa. 

Class 4 - Postal Stationery (PS). 

Class 5 - Thematic Philately (TH) (*). Exhibits will be classified under: A) 
Nature. B) Culture. C) Technology.
(*) Please, indicate clearly in the “Exhibit Application Form” as to the subclass (A, B or C) the exhibit is entering. 

Class 6 - One Frame – TP, PH, PS, TH. 

Class 7 - Modern Philately – TP, PH, PS, TH. 

Class 8 - Youth Philately:

Age for Group A: 10-15 years old (As of January 1st, 2017).
Age for Group B: 16-18 years old (As of January 1st, 2017).
Age for Group C: 19-21 years old (As of January 1st, 2017). 

Class 9 - Philatelic Literature:
A) Philatelic books and research papers (published on or after January 1st, 2012).
B) Philatelic magazines and periodicals (the whole annual volume issued after January 1st, 2015).
C) Catalogues (published after January 1st, 2015).

Article 9 – Participation Fee 
9.1 There is no fee for Non-Competitive Class entries
9.2 The participation fee for Competitive Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 is US$ 60.00 per frame. 

(An additional 50 Swiss Francs per frame for the FIP Championship Class shall be paid directly to FIP).

9.3 The participation fee for One-Frame Exhibit (Class 6) is US$ 75.00 per exhibit.
9.4 There is no fee for Youth Philately (Class 8).
9.5 The participation fee for Philatelic Literature (Class 9) is US$ 60.00 per exhibit.

Results of Indian participants at TAIPEI 2016





PHILATAIPEI 2016 world Stamp Championship Exhibition is being held from October 21 to 26, 2016 at Taipei World Trade Centre, Taipei, Taiwan to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the Chunghwa Post. The exhibition will have 2400 frames. There are 12 exhibits participating from India. Anil Suri is the National Commissioner from India, A R Singhee is a member of the Jury from India.
