Forthcoming Stamp Exhibitions...






AEROPEX 2019 is a Specialised National Philatelic Exhibition to be held at Drill Hall, Torrens Parade Ground, Victoria Drive, Adelaide 5000, Australia from Dec 6 to 8, 2019 to commemorate the Centenary of the epic England to Australia flight of Sir Ross & Keith Smith in 1919.

AEROPEX 2019 is jointly organised by Australian Airmail Society Inc. and the South Australian Philatelic Council Inc. under the Auspices of Australian Philatelic Federation Ltd., and under the Patronage of Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Aérophilatéliques (FISA).

AEROPEX 2019 have following Classes: Traditional, Postal History, Postal Stationery, Aerophilately, Astrophilately, Thematics, Maximaphily, Revenues, Youth, Open, Literature, First Day Covers, Frugal Philately, Polar Philately, Cinderellas, Picture Postcards. All exhibits must have an aerophilatelic or astrophilatelic theme to be accepted. Entry fee is Australian $ 45 per frame in all classes and $ 45 per exhibit in Literature Class.

Mr. Madhukar Jhingan is coordinating the participation from India.

Exhibit Application form and the detailed rules of exhibition (Prospectus) are available for download here. SYDNEY STAMP & COIN EXPO 2019




Sydney Stamp & Coin Expo 2019 is a Full National Philatelic Exhibition. It will be held at Johnny Warren Indoor Sports Stadium, Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre, Sydney, Australia, from Jun 13 to 16, 2019.

SSCE will have following Classes: Traditional, Postal History, Postal Stationery, Aerophilately, Astrophilately, Thematic Philately, Maximaphily, Revenues, Youth, Philatelic Literature, Cinderellas, Open Class, Frugal Philately, Polar Philately, First Day Covers, Picture Postcards, Topical, and Modern Philately.

Commissioner for NEW ZEALAND 2020 Philatelic Exhibition (FIAP)

Commissioner for LONDON 2020 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition (FIP)

Mr. Surendra Kotadia has been appointed as Indian National Commissioner for the LONDON 2020, FIP Specialised World Stamp Exhibition to be held in London from 02 to 09 May 2020. The exhibition will be held in two parts from 02 to 05 and 06 to 09 May 2020, by changing over the exhibits on the evening of May 05.
Eligibility: The minimum eligibility for participation in a FIP exhibition for Senior Class & Youth Class (Groups B & C) is a Vermeil Medal and for Youth Class (Group A) a Large Silver Medal secured at a National Exhibition.

London 2020 exhibit applications due in June

Applications for the London 2020 international stamp exhibition are due this summer on June 30.

The individual regulations and application forms are now available online at the London 2020 website, 
london2020.co. The roughly 2,800-frame exhibition will be held May 2-9, 2020, at London, England’s Business Design Centre under the patronage of the Swiss-based Fédération Internationale de Philatélie.

Fees are £70 ($120 Cdn.) a frame for multi-frame exhibits and £90 (about $150 Cdn.) for one-frame exhibits. Youth and literature exhibits are both £25 (about $45 Cdn.).

CHICAGOPEX 2019

CHICAGOPEX 2019 will be held from Nov. 22-24th at the Westin Chicago Northwest USA.This year in CHICAGOPEX 2019 American National Stamp Exhibiton, five societies are participating, Polonus Philatelic Society, the Rossia Society of Russian Philately, the Lithuania Philatelic Society, the Ukrainian Philatelic and Numismatic Society and the India Study Circle.
CHICAGOPEX is one of the largest and one of the most prestigious philatelic exhibition of USA. Limited Exhibits will be accepted from Indian Participants who are members of India Study Circle for Philately. I will represent India Study Circle in CHICAGOPEX 2019 for Indian Participants.

Thailand 2018

At Thailand 2018. Sandeep Jaiswal's  eight frame exhibit titled “British India – Queen Victoria Postal Stationery” was awarded a Large Gold medal (96 points) + Special Award for “Material”. Of the 22 exhibits entered in the Postal Stationery class, it was the highest awarded exhibit in its class.

A 190+ page book, based on this exhibit was launched during the Postal Stationery Commission meeting at the show.

Italia 2018 International Philatelic Exhibition ,Verona, Italy





 "Italy 2018 " International Philatelic Exhibition was held at Verona, Italy from 23-25 November 2018.

The Federation of Italian Philatelic Societies organized Italia 2018, a major international philatelic competitive exhibition, divided in three parts:

Italia 2018 National, national exhibition of thematic philately, traditional philately (modern and contemporary), postal history (modern and contemporary), postal stationery and maximaphily.

Italia2018 Philatelic Literature, exhibition with international participation of philatelic literature, both paper and digital.

Italia 2018 The Great War, exhibition with international participation of postal history, traditional philately, postal stationery, thematic philately and maximaphily exhibits dedicated to the Great War.

Aditya Asthana, the only participant  from India was awarded a Silver Medal in the Class "Other Digital Works"  for his entry " Tale of a Mail Season One ". 

Tale of a Mail is series of episodes which describe a variety of British India Letters on the grounds of Postal History. Path, Postage and postmarks are illustrated to show the working of postal department. Twelve different episodes narrate tales from Pre stamp era to the Second World War.

World Stamp Championship ISRAEL 2018






World Stamp Championship ISRAEL 2018 is being held from May 27 to 31, 2018 at the International Convention Center, Jerusalem, Israel. Damyanti Pittie is the National Commissioner from India. There is no Jury from India. Following four exhibits from India are participating in ISRAEL 2018:
