The China – ASEAN Expo



The China-ASEAN Expo, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China, the departments of economic affairs and trade of the governments of ten ASEAN member states and ASEAN Secretariat and undertaken by the people’s government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is held in Nanning, Guangxi annually with an aim at “promoting the construction of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA), sharing cooperation and development opportunity”, covering commodity trade, investment cooperation and trade in services. The Expo celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2013. Over the past 10 years, the Expo has been built into an important platform for friendly exchanges, trade promotion and multi-field cooperation between China and ASEAN, and become a grand international event with widespread influences in CAFTA. The stamp which adopts the form of traditional Chinese painting features famous flowers of the 11 countries, symbolizing the blossoming future of China-ASEAN cooperation.
