Grand old man of Indian philately and Past President of Philatelic Congress of India, Shri Dhirubhai Mehta passed away today. India lost a great philatelist.. Winner of many international awards, he served as member of Jury and National Commissioner in many International Philatelic Exhibitions. He had a specialized collection of Postal Stationery of Indian Native States. He will always be remembered for his great services to Indian Philately.
