New Creation in Philately
Here is the poster issued by India Post on Music Mastero Ustad Bismillah Khan. Such posters are seen often at Philatelic Bureau. Just like FDCs, one can prepare a small collection with a single stamp, or with a Block of 4. As such private Maxim cards are being marketed in plenty, these collection is more potential as it is on officially issued Poster. It will be good collectible with First Day Cancellation with the same stamp on the poster.

The stamps cancelled on poster is not new in Philately,it does exist and some collectors do collect the same, but the problem is in preserving it, which is more troublesome than the FDC. (compact size)

We have one old piece of Nehru in D.K.Philatelic Association.

Yes the size is quite a problem but if it is framed its collector's delight though not suitable as a philatelic item !
