Aero India 2015

 

 

Philatelic Exhibition and India Post Stall at Aero Show 2015, Bengaluru - 18th to 22nd February 2015

On 19th February 2015 Defence Minister, Shri Manohar Parrikar, released two Special Covers on ‘Aero India 2015’. (Special Cover approval no. KTK/29/2015 and KTK/30/2015)

Department of Posts, Karnataka Postal Circle had opened a stall at Aero Show 2015 held from 18th to 22nd February at the Air Force Station Yelahanka, Bengaluru.

A unique stall of India Post had stamps of aero shows and aircraft on sale which attracted visitors. Items like mugs and lettersets with stamps embossed over them were also exhibited at the stall. Stamp exhibition based on aero philately in approx. 20 frames was also arranged in the stall.

 

Special Cover on 11th CBS Head Post Office of Odisha Postal Circle - 5th January 2015

Cuttack GPO – 753 001 successfully migrated to CBS System on 5th January 2015. It has become 11th CBS Head Post Office of Odisha Postal Circle. On the occasion, a Special Cover was released on 5th January 2015 at Cuttack.
