To commemorate World Hindi Day 2021, CPMG Karnataka circle released one postcard and ephermal postmark on 10th January 2021 at Meghdoot GPO Bengaluru.
This event was organised by the Postcrossing Society of India under the aegis of TOLIC and India Post.All officials and their family members were invited to use postcards to express their thought on promotion of Hindi as official language. The three best entries were awarded.
There was a competition of drawing / illustrating an Indian Postage stamp on postcard as the
canvas.Three best artworks were awarded with trophies. There was a completion on Hindi Caligraphy too which was well subscribed and resulted in three entries selected as picturesque for award. Postcrossers, philatelists, participants with families attended this first of this kind event in India.
