I am writing this post after a long time. Now I have shifted to new city, Dehradun . The gap is due to transition period. From now I would try to publish regular Posts. Please note the change in my postal address.

Dehradun is renowned for its natural resources, publishing services and particularly for its prestigious educational institutions. It hosts some of India's best schools and  institutions of national importance such as the Indian Military Academy , IGNFA  , Indian Institute of Petroleum, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Survey of India, Wadia Institute Of Himalyan Geology, Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Wildlife Institute of India and the Forest Research Institute.

JAMPEX 2014

JAMPEX 2014 was successfully organised on 15 -16 Mar 2014 at Jamnagar. Fifty frame district level exhibition saw local philatelist participate in the programme. There were quiz and other activities for students. Prizes were distributed by the Superintendent of Post Offices, Jamnagar Shri M R Tilva. Two special covers were released on this occasion by the PMG, Rajkot Shri Ram Bharosa.

Nawanagar Philatelic Society on this occasion felicitated Shri T R Nadiapara former ADPS retired from Rajkot Regional Office. Shri Nadiapara has  relentlessly pursued philately during his career in the Postal Department and has been giving his services even after retirement. Seen in the photograph are Shri Y. R. Kapoor of NPS, Shri M R Tilva, Shri T R Nadiapara, Shri Jaydev Nansey, Convenor, NPS and Shri C G Mehta of Kutch Philatelic Association.
