Celebrating 150 Years of Kolkata GPO (1868-2018)
The General Post Office Building, Kolkata completes 150 years on 2nd October, 2018, Designed by Mr. Walter B. Granville, Government architect, GPO is an imposing and magnificent structure in the business district of Kolkata.
Its massive dome has drawn the attention of millions of visitors over the years and its corinthian columns are admired by all. GPO continues to occupy pride of place in the city of joy.
