Tentative Stamp Issue programme of India Post for 2012
Comment on 2012 stamp Issue Programme by India Post
Tentative Stamp Issue programmer of India Post for 2012 has not seen any stamps on Olympic nor any sports stamps. The Olympic Games are going to be held this year in London, I am really surprised to see the Programmer list and as an Olympic Philatelist we are waiting to enrich our collection only in four years so i request India Post to add the Olympic subject to 2012 Stamp Issue programme of India Post .
With Olympic regards

Very true.. The Olympics is one of the largest sporting events internationally and deserves a commemorative issue.
I fully agree with Mr Mani. One fail to understand the wisdom of India Post Officials. Olympic issue does not find a place in the list for 2012 while there 15 stamps on personalities which are least wanted in philatelic world. One wonders when officials of India post shall learn how to develop philately like Australia Post. I hope India Post include a set of atleast 4 stamps commemorating 2012 London Olympics.
Dear Mani sir,
Yes. You are correct..
I am also collecting the philatelic items on “OLYMPICS”.
But unfortunately, there is no news about the “OLYMPICS – 2012”, in the Tentative Stamp Issue programmer of India Post for 2012.
The reason is, our Indian Postal Officials are not ready to capture the “Pulses of Indian Philatelists”.
But still I hope that, they will issue the stamps on “OLYMPICS -2012”.
