New Stamp from India..

 

Central Vigilance Corporation

A commemorative postage stamp was issued by India post on 50 Years of Central Vigilance Commission. Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) is an apex Indian governmental body created in 1964 to address governmental corruption.

The President Shri Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Central Vigilance Commission on 11th February 2014. Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister also presided over the inaugural function. A commemorative stamp was released to mark the Golden Jubilee of Central Vigilance Commission on 11th February 2014.
