e-Post is one of the premium product of India Post bridging "email" and "snail mail" and using modern Internet technology and the conventional postal system.Recently on the occasion of Diwali and New Year, Gujarat Postal Circle has come out with 4 different multi coloured A4 size message sheets for conveying ePost messages to recipients of ePost. Multicoloured envelopes in the size of 240 mm x 105 mm with matching designs have also been made for sending ePost messages to addressee.
Stampmania 2009 team has made a special arrangement for the benefit of philatelist who wish to get such colourful message sheets and matching envelopes with their messages. Those who are interested in getting such message sheets and envelopes may send ePost message from nearby ePost center. It should be addressed to “Stampmania 2009, Baroda Philatelic Society, C/o Sr. Postmaster, Vadodara H. O., Vadodara – 390 001”. Tariff for ePost is Rs. 10 per page of A4 size. At the receiving end your ePost message will be printed at ePost center on this special ePost stationery and delivered in special ePost envelope. On receipt of your ePost message Stamp Mania Team members will collect it from Vadodara H.O. on your behalf and shall retain with them. You can collect from them at the time of Stampmania 2009 exhibition or you they can send it to you if appropriate return postage is sent to them. This arrangement has been done for the benefit of philatelists across the country, since this stationery is only available in Gujarat Postal Circle. Stamp Fair at Ludhiana
Ludhiana Philatelic Club is going to organize annual function of BAL MELA and STAMP BAZAAR on 14th November 2009 at Lions Bhawan, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhinana. The timings of the show will be 9 am to 4 pm. A stamp designing painting competition will be organised during this mela.
