Congrats to the 1st Indian to win the FIDE Women's World Cup 2025 : 29 July 2025: Raipur



  


The Women's Chess World Cup 2025 was a 107-player single-elimination chess tournament that took place in Batumi, Georgia from 5 July to 29 July 2025. It was the third edition of the Women's Chess World Cup. The winner IM Divya Deshmukh, runner-up Koneru Humpy, and third-place finisher Tan Zhongyi qualified for the Women's Candidates Tournament 2026.

National Doctor's Day



Date of Issue :1 July 1982



National Doctor’s Day 2025: Observed on July 1, the day honours doctors in India for their dedication and sacrifice ,Doctor's Day in India was established in 1991 by the Government of India to honour Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy, an esteemed physician and a pioneer in public healthcare. Dr Roy, who also served as the second chief minister of West Bengal and was awarded the Bharat Ratna, was born on July 1, 1882, and passed away on the same day in 1962.
